The house is not only immaculate, but there is so much attention to detail to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with great pots and pans for cooking along with quality utensils for prepping food. The view is gorgeous and sitting outside was so peaceful. Even the sauna had a great view with a large window. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We loved our stay so much and just soaked up our time at the house, in the sauna, and by the fire pit. We were already talking about returning again for another weekend in the future.

This cabin is everything you could ask for and more! The amenities were above and beyond what we were anticipating, and the views were breath-taking. The sauna was such a relaxing place to sit, read a book and enjoy the beautiful nature. The weather didn't agree with having a campfire, but would have taken advantage of it if we could have. This is definitely the place to go if you're looking for relaxation and rejuvenation. We can't wait to come back!

perfect place for a quick girls getaway weekend. kitchen well stocked, had everything we needed. loads of games, puzzles, books. the sauna was great and loved the robes that were made available. could see us returning for a longer stay to be able to enjoy the outdoors even more. easy drive to Viroqua for a night out.

David was a great host. The place was beautiful and fit all our needs. It was perfect to relax there. There are some places out there that look nice but feel like the cheap out on the bedding, cooking items, and other amenities. That was NOT the case here, as everything worked great for us

Had the most lovely stay at David’s place. We throughly enjoyed the home- the natural light, clean space, and gorgeous art had us feeling very comfortable & at peace. We loved the sauna and birds! Finally, we loved exploring the area near by. We would absolutely stay there again!

We loved our little cabin getaway in the driftless region. This cabin was such a cozy spot to unwind and get out into nature. We made the most of the sauna and went on a winter hike up a bluff during our trip. The location is a ways from the closest grocery store so I'd recommend coming prepared! Such an idyllic spot with a gorgeous view of the Mississippi.

Booked this as a retreat space for my husband, he said it was great. As noted sauna takes a bit to warm up, but was definitely an added perk for a restful mini getaway.
